Every Thursday, communities have been showing their appreciation of the great courage shown by the NHS by clapping on their doorsteps. A lot of musicians have been joining in with the wonderful song "somewhere over the rainbow". If you would like to play on your instrument, on your doorstep or in the garden so everyone can hear, I have attached the music for you to try. Perhaps make a video and send it to a relative that you can't visit at the moment. I am sure it will make their day. If this version is too high for you, or too tricky, you will find lots of versions online, but opt for the key of C major. If you are a clarinettist that hasn't read across the break yet, look for versions in the chalumeau register ( low notes). This version has guitar chords for you to use too.
